About Us
Amiata Cucina Toscana is a Tuscan restaurant in the heart of Prague, born from a genuine admiration for Italian dining culture, the Tuscan landscape, and a deep respect for regional cuisine built on simplicity, quality ingredients, and honest craftsmanship.
Our inspiration came from a journey through Tuscan wineries, small trattorias, and family-run establishments — where the idea took shape to bring the atmosphere of the Italian countryside to the very heart of Prague. Unlike Italy's more famous culinary icons, Tuscany offers a cuisine built on depth of flavor, slow cooking, quality meats, legumes, handmade pasta, and a natural respect for seasonality. In this sense, it shares more with Czech cuisine than might first appear.
At the heart of the concept is a carefully curated wine cellar, offering a selection of Italian wines including smaller wineries and natural wines that perfectly complement the character of each dish.
